Thank You For The Info!

Been meaning to write this for a while.... Thanks for all the info provided on the forum and specifically in the walleye tactic section! All the information you need to target walleye is in this section: when to go, where to go, and proven methods to catch. Before this past summer I had never target...

Re: Wednesday (Pre Shoot Out Report) 10/29 Arnold launch

Had an opportunity to fish the boat referenced w 7 or 8 fish later in the day after work. We branched out from the whallon plan due to wind....the salmon...are...everywhere!
Best one wasn't a shootout winner but getting bigger! Good luck out there! (Cropped/not my boat/not my program).

Well done!!! That's it right there! The very reason to grind through slow bites, keep working gear, and stay positive because IT CAN HAPPEN!!! Congratulations!!!

Re: LCI 2025 - Green Grass and High... Lake level

Great post and fantastic Fathers Day Weekend with your daughters!

Just a heads up for anyone unfamiliar with this launch, there is one large boulder about 50yds out @ 1 o'clock (North) if you were to stand and face the lake from ramp. Other than that it is a nice flat sandy bottom!

Thanks again for another great event! Always a good time when you are in the presence of so many passionate fishermen! The Mistress is as enjoyable to ride as you would expect, thanks Pat! Props to Gram for donning weight belt and mask during BBQ to dive for a strangers sunk keys at dock. Great........

Re: Westport 5/7 5/8

Curious, what are you running for a fly rod ,size? Floating (w weight?) or sinking line, and leader length? Have seen many different flyrod programs and the fight is the best!

Re: TownFarm Bay Saturday whiteout

Pure fishing passion got Reelax out the barn and to the ramp! This is a guy who can now cherry pick good weather days during the week and fish whenever he wants. But yet, he WANTED true adventure and it paid off (thanks matt!). Rugged conditions demanded focus of driver, deck, & grill all interc...

Re: First kayak salmon 2025

Good fish from the small boat! A few times each spring I troll w the canoe and can't buy any action off little sticks. My go to is 1/4oz-3/8oz kastmasters in traditional colors off 8lb & 10lb mono on spinning reels wedged into the creel. Main line to barrel swivel, 5' leader same test, direct to...

Re: Saturday Converse LOL

Fishing boats are a godsend for duck hunters with how they stimulate the lake! Thank you!
Busy last weekend of duck season with launches to the north locked, we were 1 of 3 duck boats in that little bay! I stood up and gave a hearty wave when you flew by!

Re: Pittsburgh whitetail hunt 2024

Another great adventure w Reelax!

From the blusty top of the hills to sun drentched deer beach it's a heck of an area to explore. There are deer, but they aren't dumb.

Thank you, and hope we can do it again next year!

Saco River Shore Casting For Stripers

Each summer my family and I camp near Kennebunkport ME for a few day days. Its near the Saco River in Biddeford which presents a fun opportunity to try for stripped bass. This is a family trip, not a fishing trip as has been made clear, but no one seems to care what I do between the hours of dark th...

TUnamas

If you don't mind sharing, what's your set up when targeting Bowfin? Would 20-30lb leader, 4/0 or 5/0 circle hook, 2"x2"ish cut bait on a bobber be in the ball park?
