Well, long story short my father missed a good one early the first morning but got redemption that afternoon with a nice 129lb 5pter. His first deer since he began teaching my brother and I about the woods (20 yrs). I had no luck the first day so decided to switch it up and hunt where my father got his the previous day. I got into stand early and could hear deer walking as soon as I got up the tree, as it got light I could hear a deer coming my way so I gave a few grunts and sprayed the buck bomb a little. Well this big ol boy stepped into sight so I let him have it! 170lb 8pt. Time for some late season archery hunting!
Great bucks. Thats awesome you both got one on the same day.
