We have been fishing south out of Converse. Salmon have been pretty good, picked up this 4.5# rainbow yesterday. The mud plume from the Otter creek has made the water on the VT side pretty stained depending on the wind. I haven't made it that far south yet but friends report good salmon down there also

Salmon fishing is the best I've ever seen it in Champlain. Apparently, the lamprey control is working, lots of big, healthy fish!!!
