Fishing update "Transmitter Study Wednesday" 11/5/25

Post by Digitroll Fishing »

With tough wind Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday we had a perfect am only window today before the rain moved in. We fished 6:30 am - Noon. Will Nolan and Randy with their boats joined around 8 am till Noon as well. 30 Lakers and 5/6 on salmon for us helped move the needle well to 16 salmon now with transmitters! The one we lost was a big jumper on the wire diver! Graham and his assistant Miles were on board for a 8 rod spread! We had hits on all rods today with Reverse Buzzy's on all of them except our two inside divers with Flasher / Tube Flies. Tons of action and a fantastic time! 4 more salmon to go for the target of 20 transmitter fish for the main lake. Not a single tangle with the 8 rod setup today.

The goal is too wrap this up with 4 more salmon left to tag with transmitters hoping this Saturday. Graham will be riding along on Will's boat and a few will be out to get this completed. After this goal is met we will switch our focus to the Sea and work on 20 more to complete this years project ahead of last years end of month schedule!

What an excellent time spent on the water. Not only the memories amongst friends but also for science. I'll be at small these things are very important in the years to come for a sustainable salmon fishery. I love this kind of stuff thanks for the opportunity boys
