This new unit features a new large 4.5" color display with Blue Tooth wireless communication to your Fish Hawk to display information on the rigger screen. Way cool!
You are trolling browns on Ontario: You want to fish where the 60deg meets bottom, at 2.2 Downspeed. You fishhawk tells your downrigger what depth to run, your rigger networks to the fishfinder to follow the contour, autopilot runs that contour while the fishawk send realtime commands to keep your Downspeed at 2.2. Build in things like zig zag, and speed increases and decreases at set intervals. Then all we have to do is put the right gear in the water and wait!!!
When you are fishing salmon in open water: You want to set the rigger at 54 degrees. The Fishhawk finds that temp and adjusts automatically to changes. It tells your throttle to maintain 2.4, and you set the desired pattern/course on your Auto Pilot.
Could but why would I do that? I can catch fish myself without one, really just want technology to make fishing solo easier so I can fish more often haha
