First fish of the season !!
A Little late start this year!!! Most lakes just opening up here in the northeast part of the state!! Hooked up with good friend for a shake down cruise, not expecting much!! Just putting the boat and equipment through the paces!! Everything worked just fine!! Water temp 49 at surface hit a couple of spots at 51!! Started pulling streamers and land a couple of 15 inch browns then felt a much more substantal tug and after a good 10 minute or so battle put a nice 24 inch 7lb brownie in the net!!! All in all good start to the season !!! Hope to get over to Champlain soon!!!! Sleeps
