Frost on everyones windshields at 6:30 AM.... most people are sleeping in with a cold snap like this. I was right, and was there by myself for about two hours until Scott (TUnamas) showed up and joined me in fishing the Burlington side.
Finally, the sun started shining close to the water we were fishing, and I remember telling Scott I think things are going to pick up soon when the sun comes. Not too long after I pulled out a big colorful flashy rainbow-beadhead stone and used it as a dropper below my other nymph, Scott went to shore to change his rig, and then fished the run a bit further down. Soon after that, a long drift and an indicator disappearing, I was into another salmon! My 5th in just a few weeks...can I actually land this one unlike the 4 others?
After the first jump, I knew right away it was a big chunky fish, and the adrenaline started! I eventually called Scott over to help me net it, and a few nice jumps and head shakes and rolls later...Scott netted the beauty(Thanks again!), which barely fit in the net
Measured her on my rod, 26.25" Fat just like all the others so far this year...hopefully the trend this year? Very healthy fish and tagged as well,

I feel like a weights been lifted off my shoulders after landing this fish.
