in front of the winooski

went out front of the Winooski my wife, my daughter, and grand daughter. tried some white perch on the reef with night crawlers caught six fish. decided to troll towards appletree point form the Colchester reef. Ran 50 to 70 feet of water down riggers down at 30 and 40 to other poles out with deep divers. Caught 2 bass and then a salmon. Caught salmon on the deep divers. Below are pictures of the salmon and bass I hope.

Very nice fish rog! I think it is a steelhead from the spots on the tail... We were in the inland sea all day and hear you in 68 at one point...

Nice steelie! Good move fishing the winooski and targeting steel! That was my goal Wednesday, but had to turn around as it was pretty rough out there solo.

Again, some great data! Fishing 10-15-20 feet down for these "bows" may be the ticket and with rebel divers is a good option too! Some stuff to build on for others here. Wish I was going out in the calm morning. I know where i WOULD BE!

Boy i wish i could tell the difference between the fish.God i can tell a duck flying wait kind it is,but salmon ,and steelies,ha,not so good,but he did have a lot of spots on his tail.I did clean it to eat and had at least 25,small minnows about 1,2,inches long,almost like small pin heads, no elwifes.I did see other fish on the surface. bump,

I remember Reggie Instigator catching a toad Steelie last September and it was fat as a hog when he stopped by to show it to me. Later he said the same thing about all these small YOY bait in it.
