Datillio's Derby
Datillio's Derby
I was just wondering who is going to fish Datilios' Derby next weekend. Looks like a ton of great prizes once again at the fish fry after the , weigh-in. The raffles and meal is well worth the cost of entering. I am not sure if I can make it, but if I lived near-by I would never miss this one.

Best Derby value on the lake. I'll be fishing it again this year.... not sure if we will use my boat or dean's but we got a secret weapon lined up for a 3rd mate, so it should be interesting. the 2013 and 2014 winning salmon rod&net team will be trying for a 3rd win....
Fish on!

Re: Datillio's Derby
This is always a great derby and I am sure this year will be great with some BIG Fish in all categories. As usual Me and the Boys will be filleting the fish for the fish fry PLEASE if you plan on bringing fish in for the fish fry bring some ice with you and put them in a cooler with ice this time of year if they die in you're live well and sit in there in 50 something degree water they start to spoil fast Last year we had to throw out some Salmon and Lake Trout for this reason and its a shame to see them go to waist so if you're not set up to take care of them just turn them loose no need to waist them. Also try to drop fish for fish fry on Saturday so we can get them cut up and ready for Sunday it makes things go much easier. Thanks again tight lines and good luck to everyone.

Where do I find info about this? I googled it, but only relevant result was from 2010. Thanks in advance.

Congrats to some nice fish caught. Looks like there were some heartbreakers at the scales. Truly competitive.
