Water has geat color in mexico bay, From the pier to lil salmon, Temp ranged from 41.4 too 43 it is pretty generic but the color is there . THANK YOU MR.WIND!!!!! 2-3 footers calmed down as the day went on. 5-16 fow all board shots today never fished a rigger. skinny water a bit too dirty( Clear,Turbid,Dirty,MUDDY) That's how i rate it. All thundersticks in the jr size mainly fire tiger but blk/silver orange was good. 40-60 behind the boards. Dive bombs 20-out 15 speed gps 1.8-2.5
Its pretty easy right now. A bit cool out but still nice fishing. coulda used some sun . wind was north east started at 7:15 quit at 11 did like 24-25 nothing of any real size.
Its on if your headed this way anytime between now and late may. I will have a few spots open this month and next month if anyone feels like leaving the boat at home. What you spend in tackle and fuel is about what a charter costs. And if you have a smaller boat you might not get out after the drive. Just a heads up.

Afternoon trip today Clear water in my area but overcast. 15-18 fow 2.2-2.7 gps 41.3-44 degrees All blk silver #11 Rappies decent bite but not non stop couple doubles, 9.5 biggest , but I did hear of several over 10 today Good action for the morning fleet . I Went west today stayed away from the crowds. Was gin clear , skinny did nothing. All board shots as I didn't run a rigger .
Wind is going too make it a day to day fishery this year. Where we did the best yesterday we never took a shot today. You just gotta have a plan B in these conditions. We are getting the fish thats for sure but I would expect things too slow a bit in the bay due too pressure. The guys out in Fair Haven did good as did sodus area today but they had a bit of color. Our water cleared from yesterday.
One key today was long leads sure seemed to help today
