With water spouts forecasted for today and tomorrow it didn't slow down the Fish Doctor and crew. My brother in law couldn't wait to get back on the pond after our weekend trip 30 days ago. Took his best friend Jay and two others over for some staging kings over bait in the abyss. Landed a 26 and 27 lb king and two throwbacks. Lost a horse around the rigger cables that cut the line. 4/5 was the final count.
It never gets old Fred. We have been going over since 1980. Nice to get my brother in law into the trolling scene here and going over to Lake Ontario is like a Daytona 500 experience.
Nice fish, guys!! Hopefully the fishing continues to pick up over there as the salmon move toward the rivers. Thought I was going to be over there for a long weekend this weekend, but that fell through. Will have to go after the little guys around here!
