Ft Cassin ramp today.

Project Date – 10/20 - 10/31
Project Purpose – Remove and install new ramp
Project Scope – This project will consist of the installation of a filter curtain and removal of the existing ramp. Once removed, archeological work will be completed and a new ramp will be installed. The ramp will be longer to accommodate for the drop into the river channel.
Access Impact – THE REMAINING PORTION OF THE EXISTING RAMP IS NOT USABLE. IF USING THE RAMP, LAUNCH TO THE DOWNSTREAM SIDE.

Looks good for weekend use as they are not working then.

Well guys,unfortunately we will be missing our first shootout in 8 years due to a death in the family.really going to miss fishing Champlain and the shootout, but you know how it goes.good luck to everyone who is fishing and be safe!!!!!

We are Sorry for your family's loss. Time to gather round and celebrate the life lived and remembered.

Shootout Date and Time Change
After reviewing the Saturday Forecast The decision has been made to change the tournament date to Sunday Nov. 2nd.

.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 25 knots, becoming northwest. Showers
in the morning, then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Waves
1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots, becoming west 5 to
15 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of rain showers in the evening.
Waves 1 to 2 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly sunny. Waves 1 foot or
less.

The Changing of the clock from Daylight Saving time brings the Start time "Sunrise" to 6:30 AM.
Weigh in time is still 1:PM Sharp. Don't be Late!

Sorry to hear that Jason, Hawkeye will be missing this year as well.

Update:

Live fish needed now for transmitter insert and release now for Shootout. 15-17" zero age fish. Just like at the Sea last weekend of November scheduled. Only these are main lake fish. 20 for each area. Cancel samples for diet study Sunday. Graham will be there Noon to 2 pm.
