Yup, size 2. OH, and I was using a 4 LB Fluoro leader too, I was a bit scared to say the least.

Matt...as a reference, earlier this year I caught a fish that was 27-1/2" and weighed 8.22. I'm sure yours was just as heavy if not heavier.

It was a real solid chunky fish, especially for a male! If yours was 8.22 at 27.5, mine was probably the same if not a bit more at 28. Good stuff!! Can't wait to head back down on my next day off.

Have you done the filming for the Outdoors segment you spoke about a few weeks ago yet?

Maybe they can splice from this huge fish photos and your video of the release!

Now that is a Master Angler salmon!
