was on the water by 445 and started in the dirty water by garden and worked that till about 830 and headed to new York! Got set up and within minuets had a 18inch salmon in the boat, got 2 more over the next hour and then my slide diver started screamin! I have a medium heavy rod for my slide diver and it was bent pretty good!!! had a wicked fight and got 25 inch 6.57 pound salmon in the boat, a master angler salmon too! picked up an went to weigh him in for the all season cause my scale said 7.5, its a pound off. got it weighed in an headed right back out and immediately got back on the fish. finished the day 17-20, not counting shakers. fish first thing in the am were between 40-50 on a ci purple demon and a ci noisy boy, fish in the afternoon came no more than 36 down, I found a cold current running in the middle of the lake and the fish an bait were just stacked in it, I had 51 at the ball 36 down and that was the magic number, every fish in the afternoon came on a purple demon and a purple craze. As a bonus we gotta 19inch steelie, I've never caught a steelhead and the one time my girlfriend wants to reel in a fish I hand her the rod and guess what? ITs a steelhead!! I was so excited to get one in my boat it didn't even matter and was super excited that my girlfriend wanted to reel one in, guess i'll have to share the action now cause shes hooked!! All in all an absolutely awesome day!!!!!!
