Ethanol Free Gas COCO Williston BEWARE

Post by popster »

COCO (Champlain Oil Co.) on Industrial Ave in Williston (next to VT Home & Marine) is selling Ethanol-free gas.

THERE is NO CHARGE for the WATER IT CONTAINS, IT COMES FREE with the GAS.

I recently had both engines (Yamaha T8 and ETEC 150) die outside the Burlington Breakwater (towed in) due to water in the fuel tank. I removed 45 gallons of contaminated fuel from my 63 gal tank and replaced fuel filters on the 2 engines and the fuel/water separator. Overall, the fuel contained about 5 gallons of water. Satisfaction or compensation from COCO…… zero. BEWARE

Too bad Bill!!

Don't know about you're area but up here the Shell Premium as 0 Ethanol and all the other brands have 5% of Ethanol in the Premium and more cleaning agents; that what I use in my boat.

I hope you submitted the bill for towing and repairs to them.

I am sorry to hear of your troubles as I went through the same thing approx. 10 years ago and it was not fun.

Heard of your troubles on the water Sunday on the radio, doesn't sound like a good time... I wonder how many other vehicles were effected...

Hope all is well now... Pointer looked great on the water..

With all this rain I was wondering how many of the underground tanks were going to get watered down.... There are probably more underground tanks with water in them out there!!!!! Sorry to hear you got a bad batch of gas...Other than that how is that new E-tec doing for you?
