Sunday January 11th, 2026 Beat down on the salmon with the "Instigator"

What a way to start a new year! Sun shining / calm water greeted us at the ramp at 8:15 am. Whenever I get on this boat something special happens and today was no different. 8 salmon made it to the net after 6 hours when we quit at 2:20 pm. Rigger parked at 30 feet did the damage today on a custom made Blue Moon Tube fly behind a Flasher. Perch Speedy was also the hot item! 18"/19"/21"/16"/17"/17"/17"/18" were sampled for the DNA clip study to start off 2026! No one else on the water today on a picture perfect day!

Niagara Bar is less than 3 months away! I have Reggie convinced on a 4 probe Smart Troll system for his divers where it really shines on the big pond and he will be out there on his boat as well at the Bar.
