Willsboro water

Post by FISHING POLE »

Fished with buddy Pete out of Willsboro and found the lakers and bait in 70-90 fow. Temp at 65ft was 57 deg. Two high rods with warrior lures one was superman and the other was Rusty nail got us 2 Salmon nothing large but good eaters. Lakers came on NKS 28 and Stingers green blue was the best color. Lakers had both smelt and alewives in them. We also had a bonus no fleas! Great day on the water.

Sounds like a great day. Thanks for the report. How was the water level at the launch?

I have a 21ft deep V Searay so I have to be careful how far I put the trailer in so as not to go over the edge. I would say most boats still can be put in. They even put some of the Poker run boats in but with care.

That's a beautiful area. I used to fish it a lot but not so much the few years.
