Still no salmon off Robinsons, lots of lakers off colchester reef

Post by Big Bear »

Got out at the crack of 9:30am this morning  and tried Robinson’s. No luck there, so headed to the Broad Lake. Found a bunch of Lakers between 45 and 56 feet down in 100-175 FOW off Colchester reef.

Good news is for the eight or nine that I caught all of them were in the one and a half to 3 pound mark and not one of them had a lamprey. And all but one of them were wild!

I even got to see a blimp coming across the lake. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that before.

Yeah, Zoom in on the lake pic, it’s kinda in the middle and it’s white amongst the white clouds so hard to see as my camera isn’t so great.

I saw it on Northern Lake George - it was the Goodyear blimp going from Plattsburgh to Connecticut.
