Ringer crew Wednesday

Had the good fortune to have Bill Lowell (Popster) with over 50 years of Lake Champlain trolling experience and local island legend Sully aboard to hunt silver on a blue bird day.

Water temps were around 38 and water stained green. Worked on a skunk until mid day when the sun hit the water just right and we got into a pod of active fish. Some good sized fighters in the mix and at one point we had triples on with our 6 rod set.

With Bill driving and Sully fighting fish the action continued non stop for a hot hr and we actually reduced rods in the set to 4 for a manageable spread.

Ran sticks and some spoons but a blue yozuri with silver bottom won the day.

Menu today started with meyers montreal and everything spiced bagels with cream cheese smothered with smoked salmon chips… Later in The day we bbqed up a few hot Italian sausages to keep us on the water till 230.

While the counter didn’t reach double didgets today the quality of fish made up for it!

Had a blast watching Sully fight a nice salmon at back of boat and even got a short video of the fun:)

Thanks for a memorable day on the lake guys. Always fun having a crew that has never fished on Reelax before…
