New boat, new downriggers, Stacking issues
Purchased two new Cannon STX 10 downriggers and love the up/down speed until I opt for stacking lines. If not watching closely, the rigger comes up fast and doesn’t release the stacker release causing issues with cable and other bad things. Always used Chamberlain releases and now thinking of having to change to something different. Fast riggers have been around so hoping the community might have some good tips or ideas.

Problem is the rigger comes up fast and if not right on top of it the chamberlain release catches and crimps the cable. Sometimes I fish alone (others with one other person) and with fish on hard to catch in time. Note I typically stack 12’ apart. Catch 22!
