Michael thanks for the good info. Probably won't come up this fall the then. We did just as you said when we had runs. But they were taking the bait off and not hooking up. I use j hooks all the time and never have a fish gut hooked . Will try and get up there in may for some striper action. Hopefully I can get in a boat by then.
