Dipsy rod Champlain

What brand or kind of rod do some of you use for champlain. I just ordered a set of okuma classic gt med 9ft but i feel they maybe to stiff for champlain. Any suggestions

we run 8-9' talora med with slide diver lite bites. they are a little stiff takes a lot of the fun out of it but i feel you prob need the stiffer spine to get the divers to trip reliably. think its a necessary drawback to that presentation.
