Optimizer Spoons

Post by keithm87 »

So I happened across some of these on LOU for sale. 10 of these and a few other spoons for $25 shipped.

So since I know Jim from Tamiron is on here, and others here have used these, whats the proper setup and presentation? I know they are for fast trolling. Setback length? Best time of year?

I bought a lot of honeybee spoons from the same seller. Plus the 4 mooselook. I got all these for $40 shipped. I didn't see the ones you bought that were listed on LOU until you had already spoken for them. Or they would of been in my tackle box. LOL Nice batch of lures.

Looks like this company is now selling them if anyone is looking, they look a bit pricey for a spoon, but I dont know what they sold for before.

I have a 1/2 dozen or so in various colors that I bought from Tinidad tackle a few years ago.
haven't used them very often. I believe the recommended speed is 3 MPH or faster.
I don't really like trolling at that speed and to be honest I haven't had much luck.

Yeah I think they seem like they would be awesome though on those days where the wind is cranking and control at slow speeds is tough. put her in gear and send a little faster.

Hey everyone – I wanted to jump in and share a quick note from us at Catch America. We actually loved the Optimizer spoons so much over the years (and caught some absolute monsters with them) that we ended up buying the entire product line. We’ve fished them hard and stand by how effective they are, especially when speed trolling on big water.

To show some love to the community, we’re offering a special 25% discount on the Optimizer line for anyone here who wants to give them a shot (or stock up). Just use this link: https://catchamerica.com/discount/LkChamplai25.

We will keep this offer running until the end of May.

Let us know if you have any questions about setup, presentation, or anything else — we’re happy to help.

Tight lines!
– Abdul, Catch America
