Lac St-Pierre

Post by Gecha (Gerry) »

Today I fished Lac St-Pierre with our friend André.
Lac St-Pierre is located about an hour drive east of Montreal on the St-Lawrence river.
On the water just past 10 am, out at 4:30 pm.
We had a slow start but the weather was fairly nice, not too cold and only small waves.
We jigged in different locations without any success, then switched to trolling.
It took a little while to get the first hit, an undersize walleye.
We ended up the day with 3 beautiful walleyes in the live well, and 4 very nice smallmouth bass we released.

BTW,
The biggest walleye had a 6.5" perch, the other 2 had empty stomach.
