Will be there Tues evening and Wednesday on a friends boat from Syracuse. Doing either Salmon River or Oswego. Any suggestions? Do I call you on the radio on Shay D Winds?

Michael,

If you look back at my last years post it will show what we did well with last year. The white glow boards in the morning and the green pretty much all day. Most of what i heard this year is green on green. The best fly being the old go to crinkle green. I like it tied with black beads. Although i usually run a 21" fly length a friend that just came back said a 36" lead was working better later in the day. I will try a few but may not be too quick to leave what worked last year. You can call us on 68. We will most likley start off the river. Last reports is they are doing well there. Good luck.

Scott,
I am sure we will run into each other there. We are at the same camp. You should have my number. Give me a call.
Good luck.

Finished our fist day with ten hits and five fish in the box. No Pictures as it was a windy rough day. Just getting back into the groove setting and standing up. :)

Today we are one for two. Slow bite.

Just got an update from Scott (Jusfishin) yesterday was a bloodbath.... got 7 kings between 25 and 30lbs and a bunch between 15-20... Previous 2 days had been good with kings up to 26lbs, and good numbers... But Wed was best so far...

here is a 26 in the box...

Don,

You and Pete had a good day on Wednesday. It was good talking to you while I was out with my friend from Syracuse on his boat. We did two Kings at 9:00 and 9:15 respectively on a White with dot flasher and Mirage fly and on a green Tiger Flasher and Hammer fly both 90' and 100' over 115 fow. We lost two others about 2 hours later loosing one complete set up dipsy, flasher and fly. And we lost the other when my friend got excited and tried to horse it.

Had to leave at 1:30 to get ready to return home to work on Thursday in Burlington.

Hope we can maybe get out next year for a week. I'm excited again for Lake O after seeing it get better again. Look forward to seeing your updates. Tell Pete I had his old boat completely updated last year with new floor and inside and outside carpeting. I think he'd like it.

It has been a crazy week. We got out on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday which was one of the best fishing days ever.
We finished Wednesday with 5, Thursday with 4, and Friday with 9' (three released). There were sone nice silver fish in the mix. Blown off today so hoping to get back out in the next couple days after the blow.
