4:30 Sun 11/13/11 165 gr 30-06 ended a 7pt buck quest for a little love'n ,at 4:10 a buck appeared out of nowhere (4pt)passed him,at 4:15 or so another buck(smaller than the first) I passed (my best mate Jeannette's spot) 4:25 the 3rd buck stepped out I bleated 3 times he came like he was on a string stopped at 75-80 yards and I couldn't pass a third deer!!!!! Jeannette was at a baby shower but arrived in time to drag

I dragged deer maybe a dozen times, not all mine mind you, as I recall, the novelty wears off real fast.
If you calculate time, effort and what you have invested in the sport, your venison is costing about $150 a pound.
