Tremendous fish Matt! Heard about it all the out here at the Bar! Fish of a life time and an even better story of how it was landed. Thanks for sharing!

First day at the Bar and it's been a blood bath on the kings this am. Everyone's catching kings.

In the realm of my limited flyfishing abilities, I must say that my "go to" trout bug was the Gold Ribbed Hares Ear nymph. I never really spent a lot of time with flies, wet or dry. Two serious ankle injuries took me out of the stream and into a boat for good. I do miss the thrill of a fat Rainbow taking my line. I still have my 6 weight St.Croix tucked away. Fishing tackle never goes away, it just gets put away.

Thanks everyone. I caught the run over there as it was tapering off. I hope to hit it earlier next year!
