So I give a call to my friend Claude and he jump on the opportunity. We launch in Port Douglas and immediatly rig 2 downriggers and 2 slide-divers. After 15 minutes a small laker at 45ft down then another one; we caught 6 lakers (small) so I decide to change spot. I said to Claude: were going to try where we had success last year. Then: Bang!! on the rigger I knew we had a nice fish and ever more sure when I saw it jump out of the water; it was a very big salmon. Manage to put it the net and when I was untangle, a hit on the slide-diver: I scream to Claude take the line, reel in, reel in. I then put the 1st in the box and the other jump and another nice like the 1st. Almost lost it in the kicker prop but finally in the net.
Measure the 1st one: almost 29" and the other was 28"

The 2 spoons (look at the siwash on the left)
