Went out ice fishing out past Mills Point with two friends. Started fishing in 40- 50 feet of water only a dozen or so perch. We had our four wheelers so we went north down by the causeway there is a spot that is called the Christmas tree tried 20 feet back out to 40-50 no luck. Friends four wheeler broke down so we decided to call it a day. Never got to Thayer's Reef. Ice was 6 inches thick ever where we went. Some pressure cracks are starting to lift and wet. Have tomorrow off and I am going to try my luck for Blue Gills at Carie Bay. Be careful and good luck to all.
