Moosalmoo Horizontal Blades

The Moosalmoo horizontal blades tend to wear out at the attachment hole due to the filing effects of the 7 stand tow wire and possible some cold flow of the aluminum blade. The vertical blades also exhibit this same problem to a much lesser degree.
A fix for this problem is to reinforce the attachment hole with an eyelet. An eyelet kit can be purchased at Michaels and A. C. Moore crafts stores or online. The eyelet kit is “Dritz #637-65”. The kit contains the necessary tools and cost about $3.00.
To use the same hole, the hole needs to be reamed out to 5/16 diameter or drill a 5/16 hole at the opposite side of the blade. Install an eyelet and attached a duo- lock snap, size #2, to the clevis using the small end and the larger end to the eyelet on the blade.
