Crappie and Smelt oh my!!!

We have a couple of workers that are staying with us in the motel that are from Maine. Before to many drinks at the bar the talk turned to fishing and eating fish!! They wanted to know if I ever ate Black Crappie and when I told them that I had not they said leave it to them !! Well tonight they threw me out of the kitchen and fried up Crappie and smelt I love smelt but I must tell you guys that Crappie is awesome !!! If you have not tried it do so soon !! Sleeps
