Wondering if anyone can help...

I have some salmon filets frozen, with skin removed. I'm wondering if they can be thawed and smoked? Looking to give it my first try...

Absolutely not....You'll have to turn them over to me.

Nearly 100% of the fish I've smoked have been frozen and thawed. No problems...however, I haven't tried it without skins. You shouldn't have an issue, just be gentle.
And a good brine is important.

frozen does'nt matter, most of mine are too. But if yours are skinless, you'll be alot better off covering your drying trays with tinfoil. Poke a couple of holes in them with a fork, and spray them liberally with PAM.

I just posted my recipe for brine on here, check it out!
