Well done guys! When you sent that picture Saturday I had a feeling it might hold. I know you fished hard as always.
See you on the pond!

Well done guys,to end up on top of a 10 day tournament is a great achievement against some of the best salmon fishing people on the great lakes.

As for the fishing, what a fishery, none stop action for 10 days, just couldn't boat a 20lb plus fish. In over 25 years of going to the bar this year was in the top ten. Enjoy your win.

Tremendous results Scott and crew! Nice talking with you Friday morning the last day of our 5 days of fishing. We were heading home Saturday on the road when we heard the news from the Vt guys still fishing. Fantastic achievement as Mike said. We have been going to the Bar for 13 years and have only registered one fish over 20 lbs in the LOC derby. No easy task on Spring kings to break the coveted 20 lb barrier for the minimum entry weight for this derby. You are in some very rare company to win this derby!

In our 13 years of going it was our 3rd best in terms of Kings landed. The weather was mill pond like all 5 days we fished and #1 for weather for the 13 years.

Well done Scott and a huge congratulations for catching the biggest Salmon! Long live the King!

Wow I am still in shock. We had a trip of a lifetime. It was my first time chasing the spring Kings in my own boat. The last time I fished the bar was 10 or more years ago with Capt John Delorenzo. We used lessons learned at this winters LOTSA salmon seminar along with our knowledge of fall kings and went and had fun. The laker bite was better than the king bite almost to a problem. Image
The quality of the fish was just amazing

The winning fish hit a white greendot spindoctor towing a proam on a wire deeperdiver.the fish took about 20 min to bring to net.
