Glacial River Kings
Slow action this time of the year on the forum so I thought I'd throw out a couple older pics I have.
Sheep Creek, AK 1985
Montana Creek, AK 1985
In 1986, my buddy and I rented a boat in Anchorage, towed it to the Kenai, and figured them out on our own. Neither of us had fished it before so we had to learn quick. We were pleased with 2 fish for the day. My buddies son landed the first one at 28 lbs. An hour or so later I hooked up and stayed hooked up drifting downstream and boated this 41 pounder.
The top two weren't weighed...they were filleted.
Guesstimated at 40 and 25 lbs

Pretty cool Gerry! Some of the best memories are like you said just doing something like that and figuring it out by yourselves. Very well done!

Those are all me Matt...I had a little hair back then and no keg of beer around my midline. And a young fella named Scott BotkinReelax wrote:WOW nice fish and trips...... Gerry who is the guys in the pics??

The one hanging on my wall is the fish in pic #3. 41 pounds on a non certified scale.
