Well, tonight starts the best derby on Lake Champlain for timing... The bite during the rotary for cold water species is usually top notch.... With the lake running a little behind this spring, I doubt it will be any different this year.. It always seems like I have fish to weigh in for this derby, but they always get bumped outta the $$ by day 3. Hope this year is different. I know I have high hopes fishing with my DYP winning partner Cowboy all 3 days. If we are really lucky we will get Thorny out one of them...
So.... For everyone fishing this weekend...
Best of luck... Go get 'em

Good luck to all. Yes, another derby won by a LCU forum member would be cool.

You and me too, msman. I want to give myself a fighting chance of catching something decent. That and if we went out and won this thing, as newbies, the "pros" wouldn't let us in on the "secrets" of their success.
Good luck to everyone in the Derby. Fred
