Two river bass trips

Fished Lewis Creek on 5/18 and 5/26 and found fish both times but not the numbers or size that are usually there. Caught a few fat females on the first trip and then a bunch of pissed off smaller males. Second trip was with my mom and two friends, we all got bass but nothing big. I found a pool full of rock bass that were fun on big flies, and i caught a 6" brookie on a 4" bass fly. Didn't see any beds in the usual spots. Also found 6 pounds of pheasantback mushrooms on the walk back through the woods.
