Venison or Beef Sloppy Joe's

Served Frostbite Style with a Double Cream Cheese and Baggette Newhaven Bill provided.
Beef & Mushroom Sloppy Joes

tablespoon olive oil
12
ounces beef top sirloin, ground
16
ounces crimini mushrooms, chopped
1
cup onion, chopped
3
cloves garlic, minced
1/2
cup tomato paste, no-salt
1/2
tablespoon oregano
2
tablespoons red wine vinegar
2
tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1
tablespoon molasses
1/4
teaspoon salt
3/4
teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
1/2
teaspoon hot sauce
4
hamburger buns, toasted
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet. Brown beef, add mushrooms, onion and cook until tender. Add next 5 ingredients and cook until liquid evaporates. Stir in pepper and hot sauce. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Serve on toasted buns about 1 cup per serving.
