Good Times in Fairhaven

The fish were cooperative last weekend from 100 out to 165 near the bottom. Everything worked. 2.4 down speed was best for us. I'm always amazed at how hard they hit and pull! Here are a few pics.

You ain't kidding on there pulling power. Sat eve I had a hit on a wire dipsy out 275. The fish stripped off the other 725 ft of 30# wire in about a minutes time then broke my backing

80 dollars in tackle gone besides losing the fish . Glad to see you got in to them. I'm headed back out for daybreak Fri

Ouch, that hurts Scott! We took a mighty hit on the wire Sunday and it broke my fly off! Got the flasher and dipsey back though. Mark Towers had just called to tell me he had a hook straightened out! Some heavy hitters cruising those waters!

nice work out there! ..we have been bangin A LOT of big fish out there this year...many cooler fulls averaging 25 lbs plus! tackle busters for sure! anyone who is thinking of making a trip should get out there now!

Heading out tomorrow morning, going to fish the Lake for the first time...any advice?
