Another ontario report

We had a slow bite out of Oswego this past weekend. Saturday, right out of the gate we picked up a laker that I bet was pushing 20 lbs, massive. Didn't weigh him, as we got him back in the water quickly. That was it for that day. Several knock offs but no other fish in the boat.
Next day we picked up this king, about 23 lbs.

Monday had some big 3 to 4 foot waves, which kept us off the lake until around 3. Fished until 7, but nothing that day. Fished depths from 120 to 450, deepest I could get on my rigger was 160 and 140. Guess I need heavier weights, and more cable, but that's tough with 3 manual riggers! Lot of cranking. From what I heard, temps were 70 down to 120 or 140', so you had to get down deep to get them. Also found out about 1/2 way through the day on Monday, bananas somehow found there way aboard the boat. I taught him a lesson on bananas.
Fun trip even though the numbers weren't there.
