Lake O 8/15 - 8/16

Did the charter with Capt Brian on Fatal Attraction again this year. I'm starting to believe we are addicted to the scream of a reel's drag.
Got up there Thursday for a noon start and had to hold off until 3:00 due to wind and waves. Picked up three in the mid 20's hoped for the lake to be on better behavior Friday. Picked one up at 250 and the other two over 300.
Friday it was still bumpy with the occasional 8' rogue wave rolling through. Picked up 9 releasing a smaller (for there) Brown, Steelie, and Salmon. Had keeper Kings from late teens to mid 20's.
The score of the day was by my son with a 42", 35.5 lb King. What a screamer. It would not only do a run but right after a 1-2 second pause take another equal to the first. Lake could have been calmer but the fishing and company was a great time.
