Good bite in Iceland

Post by Shake-n-Bake »

Thinking about a fishing vacation to Iceland in a year or two. Just wanted to share some of the photos I copied from a site. I was fortunate enough to have been stationed there for 2 years and I took full advantage of the world class fishing and scenery. The Icelanders were wonderful people, made many friends there. Looking at the picture of Lake Myvatn I still can't believe we fished that river for three days! My 84 (new then) Jeep Scrambler took a beating up there!

I could get into that...but Salmo Salar on the Baltic Sea is where you'd find me if I was traveling over-seas to fish!

So many great fishing spots and not enough lifetime to fish them. Pictures bring it to us that can't be there. Thanks guys for sharing.
