Well we went out with a goal to place in the top ten & we sealed 6th place!! Competing against 38 of Lake O's top teams we feel we proved we have what it takes to keep on the challenging fishing that Lady O can dish out! We boated over 18 legal keeper fish for the tourney, all being Kings & Steelhead. We had the top steelie for day one & got beat out by 9 ounces on day 2 with a fish just under 10 pounds! our best king was just shy of 29 pounds & we had one of the best King catchs of the whole tourney!
pics & details to come when I get them down loaded!
Cant Thank MadSierra & Salmon Slayer enough for their hard work & determination to get it done!
Needless to say you will see us in the arena again!

Great Job!

Its great when play is work and work is play. It can make play stressful at times but when it works out it is the best.

More details when you get a free minute.

We had a great time out there and @ times worked hard to get the fish in the box....just ask Matt how he likes to battle those kings on the copper!.....think almost every time we took a hit on the copper he was standing next to the rod!...copper was our king this weekend as most majors came on them!...Matt was having trouble raising his arms after day two! It was good to fish with some friends as Matt & I are usually with clients & Scott is usually fishing with friends and family, lots of laughs and good times. I actually Landed more kings this weekend myself then I have in 10 years as I'm always handing rods off to clients...glad none of mine were on the copper...lol! As Matt said we found some fish and stuck it out and stayed on them all weekend...made a mark on the GPS on every bite we got and they ALL were in a area less then a 1/2 mile circle. Got to work for a couple off weeks and then will be back our to Big O to start the season. Got to meet Shake-n-Bake on the way out and picked up a cpl of rods and rod holder from him...nice guy and hope to see him on the big pond this august. good luck to you all and give us a shout if you are heading out to Big O.
