Lake Level?

Post by Hairbone »

Any thoughts if the lake level will continue to rise? My fire pit is under water and I have 12' from camper to water line

My only comment is that the lake is so high you can launch at apple island without getting stuck in the big hole... ;)

And you can fish out the Winooski Mouth in July with 3fow... Nice.

I just passed over the Winooski River bridge on I89 and my opinion is that the water will continue to rise and my bet is it'll top the 100' mark. It has already broken the all-time July record for highest lake level. Crazy stuff.

With the continued rain the forecast I would say it will continue to rise. I'd move the camper or put pontoons on it :D

water is for sure gonna break the 100' mark in my opinion (sp) went out with kids today swimming and when we left the dock the concrete was just out of the water when we returned four hours later concrete was in an inch of water so just my 2 cents

If you leave it where it sits you could be a proud owner of a House Boat.

Sitting here in my living room watching a nice sunset through the clouds. Then I look down at the dock I finally got in Sat, and it's the only shore I have left.

Already ,here on Long Point some people have headed home as water has started to creep underneath some of the lower camps at the mouth of Lewis. Level reported today at 99.63 ft.

camp's on the corner before u head out onto the pt must be getting wet by now. Use to put docks in that area for 10years till I got sick of it and go work else where. I know some of those camps were not much above lake level at 97.5 lol

After the flood two years ago, most of those camps are now above the 103 mark, and some to 105. Construction was rampant here last year.......Most have turned over and been sold, and new owners have totally rebuilt....The times they are a changing, luckily my house sits on the height of land in the bay, and my dock is my only shorefront!
