Im new to Lake Champlain a couple years ago. Just wondering what everyones choice of spoons would be for Salmon on Champlain. I usually use green/ Chartruse colors for Lakers with succes, but Im having difficulty with Salmon. Thanks for any advice. Tricky Trout

I think if you read enough posts on this message board you will find Crazy Ivan Lures often mentioned as the ticket of success.
Their lures are tailored for and tested right on Lake Champlain.
My moto is, "Never buy just one of anything" and then some guys will talk you into purchasing both the gold and silver cup versions.

Re: Spoons
North east troller spoons do most of the damage for us for both lakers and salmon.they make a high quality spoon.pinks, blues, and reds work very well for salmon. I always have a db smelt or moose lock in the mix as well.double glow pink or pearl db smelt will always produce fish.free sliders and cheaters on the riggers are big producers for salmon once the water starts warming up and they start pushing down in the water column.
