Place to park a boat all summer near Port Douglas?

I'm looking to avoid hauling the boat back and forth 3 hours each way and wondering if anyone is aware of a place to park a 16' boat. I would be fine with renting a spot in someone's driveway, side yard etc. or a more formal place. I would like to be near Port Douglas - if anyone is aware of a place or has any suggestions on who to contact please let me know. Thanks!
