mexico bay 2/9-2/10

hit the big pond for a few hours friday and saturday.was slower than expected,but we managed around 10 bites each trip.fish were in the 15-20" range.we worked 15-30 fow with mostly spoons and a couple sticks.heard from couple people they did better inside 15 fow.anyway,was great to get
couple days away from the snow and ice!!!!!

I have always wanted to fish winter browns on Ontario, your post makes me want to latch onto the boat and head 250 miles west!!
Great to see you got a bite going!

Your short trip to Lake O was worth it. You caught some nice browns and enjoyed nice weather. Glad you did it.

absolutely gerry!!!!it was great to see bare ground and open water and get away from all the snow and ice we still have at home.

should be a great spring bt season,as long as we dont get too much south winds.

I already booked a week of fishing mid-april near Oswego... only 2 months away.

I will be fishing from our boat's friends. Staying at Anchor Resort & Marina in Fair Haven, NY for a week.
Been there twice before, great location and reasonable priced.

had a buddy that used to keep his boat there,very nice place,fair haven is a beautiful area.good luck out there!!!
