Good luck today Pierre! Happy to see you back posting!
Re: ON THE LAKE TOMORROW
The day started at 3.30 am. I got everything ready and by 4 am I was on my way to the lake.
On the water by 6.30 am. First, I had to go to Port Henri for fuel as the gaz station in West Port was out of electric power. All along the way to West Port and Port Henri there were a lot of trees down and roads closed.
The day started with a bang: a 3'' perche and a bigger one a 4'' and after 10 minutes of fishing; at least they are getting bigger. All through the day yellow perche and white perche, a few white fish. I did manage 6 salmons here and there and one seemed very nice but being alone in the boat he managed to get away, as by the time I got to the back of the boat to reach for the net he took off. Altogether a very nice day hardly any wind and a lot of sun.
All salmon but one were caught : 20 feet deep on a free cheater stick bait silver and blue 1''1/2 long the other one 44 ' deep on a spoon green and silver and blue homemade.
Sorry I forgot the .... no pic.
By the way, it's very nice to see some familiar guys on this new forum hope it stays a fishing and fun place for all to enjoy .
Have a nice day to all and enjoy fishing.

Re: ON THE LAKE TOMORROW
Hey everybody ... take pictures of your lures and always show them. It will help newcomers, manufacturers and jog the memories of seasoned fishermen. From my point of view, no pics means no help and no change !!! There are at least two manufacturers and and possibly more that will depend on you!
