Fished the Inland Sea today for five hours and the bite was slow in spite of marking plenty of fish and bait all in the 30’-60’ depth in 100 FOW. Surface temp was 40, we had a NNW wind 10-15 with close to 2’ roll. We kept one brown that was just shy of 15” and was loaded with Alewives which probably explains the lack of interest in all the bling we flashed past all that we marked.

Re: A Brown Christmas
I was hoping for silver for xmas yesterday. I only got that one 14" salmon next to you guys. Oh well, still 7 seven shopping days left and a mild forecast. I might get out there again.
Re: A Brown Christmas
You definitely earned the one salmon short or not! I remember the days in my 18’ Starcraft Bite Me boat (CC mariner with only a 12” windshield) and it could be brutal! Twenty eight years with that boat and I went soft six years ago and found my Mistress with more protection for my candy ass
Hopefully Santa brings you some silver!
