Afternoon fellow Frost Biters - as usual, I'm a "day late and a dollar short" - but I recently watched this vid on the status of Lake Champlain and I think everyone should dedicate a bit of time to it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM-Cvz1mvaE - if you can't or don't want to watch 3 hours - fast forward to - 43:27 Atlantic Salmon Management and Status in Lake Champlain, Kurt Heim (USFWS) - there is a lot of great info on what is being done to understand and improve the LLS fishing on our lake.

I've spoken with Kurt and he's sending me a scale/fin sampling kit - "easy peasy" - the info gathered could make a huge difference in the quality (and quantity) of LLS fishing in LC.
