Winooski launch?

Has anyone been using the launch at windmere way to access the broad lake? Is there pleanty of good water?

Hello Matt,
I haven't launched from Windemere since just before the floods, I do know there is large tree that drifted onto the bank on the right side of the ramp but still usable. Also the state dredged the ramp last year so all good there. With the lake at 97.5 there should be at least 4' of water over the sandbar outside the mouth (about 300yds past the bike bridge). Perfect time of year with plenty of parking.

The Launch is good to go, usually this time of year the dock is high and dry. Be weary of some grounded trees just beyond the mouth there is plenty of water to navigate around them though.

It was like a grave yard of beached trees at the mouth. Very interesting gauntlet to get thru.

Yes but Thornys were bigger:( and lots of lakers mixed in. Double lake and salmon on same rod…
